My name is Henry, and I am a resident here at in2Action. I had been looking for help for a very long time. In2Action gave me the help I was looking for. In2Action is a God-centered program. It has 3 phases to it. Phase 1 is where most of the action begins. It has these life skills classes called Skill Drills to help a man become a better person for society and himself. In2Action also has these activities for us which teaches us how to get along in a group. The activities teach us how to smile and to be happy when other people are smiling too.

On my first weekend at in2Action, we went on a float trip. It’s almost too hard to describe but it was a lot of fun. We left on a Friday and traveled three and a half hours away. Just the ride there was an enjoyable blast, listening to music and singing with each other. When we got to the campground, it was so cool because everyone helped each other out setting up the tents and getting the campsite ready for cooking, games, and more.

We went to sleep the first night then woke up to awesome camp coffee, breakfast, and a devotional with the Word of God. Then we got on a bus and headed to the river for our day of floating. We all partnered up and headed downstream on our all-day float. It took most of the day to make it back to our campsite and we only stopped occasionally to look at the scenery and eat some snacks. It was just an amazing time enjoying God’s wonderful creation.

Back at the camp that night, we sat by the campfire, and some of the guys were reading from the Bible while others took turns telling stories. In2Action has become the spot for me which is challenging me to become a better person for God, myself, and for other people. If you come to in2Action, we will welcome you with open arms.
